1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use www.thefajrclub.co.uk and when you book, buy, or take part in anything we offer — including padel tournaments, cycling and padel trips, classes, general sessions, events, membership, shop orders, and donations.
By ticking the box at checkout, completing payment, or taking part in an activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
2. Who we are
The Fajr Club is run by The Fajr Club CIC (“the club”, “we”, “us”). We are a community interest company based in the United Kingdom.

3. Booking and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and shown before you pay. Payment is taken securely through Stripe. A booking is confirmed only when payment has gone through, unless we have clearly said the activity is free.
You must provide accurate details at checkout (including names for pair or group entries). Places are limited. If an event sells out, we cannot add extra spots unless we say so.
4. Padel tournaments
Tournament entry fees are strictly non-refundable. All tournament sales are final.
This includes withdrawal, injury, travel problems, not finding a partner, a change of mind, or not attending on the day. Please only enter if you can commit to the date.
5. Trips (cycling and padel combined)
Combined cycling and padel trips are strictly non-refundable. Logistics, accommodation, and other bookings are made in advance, so we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances for trip payments.
Please make sure the dates, travel, and cost work for you before you pay. If a trip listing has extra documents (for example a trip PDF), those details also apply.
6. Classes and general bookings
If you miss a class, session, or general booking, it cannot be refunded. Non-attendance is not a ground for a refund or a free replacement session.
This covers drop-in classes, block bookings, leagues, fitness sessions, runs, rides, hikes, and similar activities unless the listing clearly says otherwise.
7. Discretionary exceptions
Refunds or transfers may be considered separately, on a case-by-case basis, under exceptional or difficult circumstances. This is strictly at the club’s discretion. It is not a right, and a decision on one request does not set a precedent for another.
If you need to ask, email team@thefajrclub.co.uk as soon as you can, with your name, booking details, and a brief explanation. We will look at it fairly. Nothing in this section requires us to refund tournament entries, trip payments, or missed classes.
8. If we change or cancel something
We may change a time, venue, or format when we have to (for example weather, court availability, or safety). We will tell you as soon as we reasonably can using the email or contact details from your booking.
If we cancel an activity and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund the amount you paid for that booking. That is separate from the no-refund rules above, which apply when you cancel, withdraw, or do not attend.
9. Membership, shop, and donations
Platinum membership is an annual contribution that supports the club and partner discounts. Membership fees are generally non-refundable once paid, except where we choose to help under section 7, or where the law requires it. Partner discounts are offered by those businesses and may change.
Shop orders are for goods. Your legal rights for faulty or misdescribed items still apply. If you need help with an order, contact us promptly.
Donations are gifts to support the club and our charity work. Once a donation has been processed, it is not normally refunded, except where a payment was taken in error.
10. Taking part
You take part in sport and travel activities at your own risk. Tell us about any health issue that may affect your safe participation. Follow venue rules, instructor guidance, and the law. We may refuse or end someone’s participation if their behaviour puts others at risk or harms the community.
We may take photos or video at events for the club’s website, social media, and reports. If you do not want to appear, tell us before the activity and we will do what we reasonably can.
11. Our liability
We are not responsible for loss that we could not reasonably foresee, or for issues outside our control (including venue closures, travel disruption, or third-party services such as Stripe). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that UK law does not allow us to limit.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date you pay is the version that applies to that purchase. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when we last changed them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If a dispute cannot be resolved by talking to us, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
